The way to Bali

Pool side Bali

“Om Suastiastu” ( Hello ) from Bali!

Finally we arrived at our destination yesterday. What a trip, but worth it in the end!

We flew yesterday (thursday) at 12.30pm from Copenhagen to Singapore and from there to Bali. The first flight took almost 12 hours and although it was a long flight it was bearable, the plane was nice, Singapore airlines has one of the best services I’ve ever experience but the 2 and a half hour flight to Denpasar Bali was really turbulent and weird. We had a car pick us up at the airport and deliver us at our destination, something we had arranged with the hotel, which I recommend doing if you’re thinking of visiting Bali.

Half an hour drive though the city on streets filled with tons of scooters, we finally got to our destination, Hotel Griya Santrian. A really really nice hotel with great views, 3 pools, lots of restaurants and their own private beach. When we got there we were exhausted so we mostly slept then went to the beach restaurant for dinner and live music. Today we had a walk on the beach, sat by the pool and got some tan and now we are on the way to find a nice spot for a massage.

Here are a few of the pictures we managed to take. I am really planning to take some very early in the morning, preferably by sunrise as we are on the side of the island that gets some magic sunrises if the weather is just right. Talk to you tomorrow with more updates.
