Sweater weather? Already? Yes, I know that summer went by fast but autumn is here to warm us up.
The “good” thing about living in Scandinavia is that we don’t actually feel the summer enough to have a chance to build a proper summer wardrobe unless we are going on vacation abroad. So this transition from so called “summer” to autumn it not such a big difference for us.
The sweater that feels like September
Who else loves September? Aside from the fact that it’s getting colder, September is probably my favourite month of the year. For one it’s my birthday month but it also reminds me of the times when I used to go back to school after a summer holiday. I would be very excited for about the first month of school and then by the second month I would get into a “I hate school” kinda mood haha. Other reasons to love September: the fall colors, pumpkins, hot beverages, hygge let’s not forget the beginning of building a new wardrobe.

Warm, soft like when you caress a kitty cat that’s how I felt when I tried on my new wool soft sweater from HERE. You know those songs that sometimes reminds you about a certain time in your life or a certain experience, well that’s how I associate this sweater to my September. Because of it’s great fabric, wool – this sweater makes me feel like embracing fall. On top of that, magically the sweater comes at a very affordable price. I seriously thought it was on sale but turned out it’s just a really great price. While it comes in many different colors to help you match it the best way possible. I picked beige because according to Vogue, beige is one of the colors that belong to the palette of colors to wear this season. It’s a more versatile color which makes it easy to style for any event or occasion but also because my closet is full already of red and yellow sweaters haha like you can see in my previous posts, HERE and HERE.
How to style the sweater?
The easiest, comfortable and affordable way to wear it, is with denim: denim skirts, jeans, denim short pants, denim jackets. In fact, if you live in a country where the climate is not as cold as here, then as Sinead from LoveStyleMindfulness says, now is the time to start combining short trousers with a chunky sweater. Don’t you agree?
And since I got them for my birthday this year, I can’t stop but flaunt these YSL Boots because I am extremely happy to have them. Yes, they are pricey but the look and quality is excellent – they are worth it, trust me. Spoil yourself this September!
Saving the best for last, below you can find a variety of other knits and sweaters hand picked by me that are all under $50 or £50 to help you rock this September in style.

Since we are only just entering fall, the prices for knitwear and jumpers are low at the moment, so I suggest you hurry up and get them now, in my experience they will sell out fast and the closer we get to winter the more stores will bump the prices up.
