Looking for spring/summer outfit inspiration for work, casual wear and everything in between? Then, I hope these two outfits can help you with some inspiration.
It’s been a while since I’ve shared style related posts and it’s mostly because I share my personal style from the streets of Copenhagen, on my Instagram account HERE. Luckily, this summer I am planning on working on more fashion/style content to share with you both on Instagram and here on my website.
I haven’t yet shopped too many items for my summer wardrobe, but I did somehow end up with 2 pleated skirts as you can see. The first one HERE, is a pleated crepe skirt in polyester. I find it a very feminine and versatile piece and who doesn’t enjoy a skirt that moves nicely around you when you walk, right? The best part of it, is that it has elastic on the waist so it can easily hide that little burger you had for lunch, without making you feel suffocated. I thought a blazer would be a great idea to style it with, aiming for a very chic work wear outfit but this is definitely something that will work for going out as well. You could lose the belt around the waist and have the blazer open and it would be a great fit for a night out. I bought mine from Arket, HERE I am a very big fan of this shop but in case this skirt is not your style, I’ve linked some other options for you to pick from under the photo.
This satin skirt caught my eye through its simplicity and endless ways of wearing it. This is definitely a skirt that I can wear for years, just like the other satin dresses that I have in my closet. To wear it at work you can simply style it with a top like I did or even a white shirt, white on white is always in style (make sure you add another color to your shoes though). But I feel like this skirt styled with the right top, could show a lot more elegance and style for an evening date night and if you like to wear it the Scandinavian way, then don’t be scared to match it with sneakers. I bought this skirt from Topshop HERE but it seems like it almost sold out, nevertheless I made sure to share other similar skirts that you might like, under the photo.
I hope you find these outfits inspiring and if you are looking for more Scandinavian street style fashion related content, then make sure to follow me on my Instagram account, BeYouVeryWell.
